The F.I.R.E. Council is the leadership team that casts and executes the vision for each retreat. Everything from the initial theme, retreat schedule, activities, speakers, Guide selection and training, logistics and overall retreat operation. The council is generally consists of 4 men with prior F.I.R.E. volunteer experience. The F.I.RE.. Council makes a commitment to serve as a volunteer for 2 consecutive retreats ( 18 months).

The F.I.R.E. Council is led and selected by the F.I.R.E. Chief who is prayerfully discerned and invited by the outgoing F.I.R.E. Chief under the supervision of the F.I.R.E. Spiritual Directors. One primary goal is to extend volunteering opportunities and spread leadership responsibility to as many parishes as possible.
